Following these steps before the visit helps keep you safe and the appointment on time. Always follow the specific instructions your office gives you.
Before your procedure: a call from your provider
The week before your procedure, your anesthesia provider will call you to review your health history, explain what to expect before arrival and during the procedure, go over medication and recovery instructions, and answer any questions. Please have your current medications and any questions ready for that call.
Eating & drinking (NPO) guidance
